The Springfield Armory Echelon is a modular striker-fired pistol built around the serialized Central Operating Group, a stainless steel chassis that carries the fire control parts. Its Variable Interface System lets you mount many leading red dots directly to the slide, and the controls are fully ambidextrous. The 4.0C Comp has a compact frame, a 4″ barrel and an integrally compensated slide with a single port that directs gas upward to reduce muzzle rise. This model is chambered in 9mm with a 4″ hammer forged steel barrel (Melonite finish, 1:10″ twist), has a black finish, and comes with two 10-round magazines. Manufacturer part number: EC9409BLCUCOMP.
