The Springfield Armory Echelon is a modular striker-fired pistol built around the serialized Central Operating Group, a stainless steel chassis that carries the fire control parts. Its Variable Interface System lets you mount many leading red dots directly to the slide, and the controls are fully ambidextrous. The 4.5F Comp adds an integral single-port compensator on the hammer-forged slide and barrel to cut muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots. This model is chambered in 9mm with a 4.5″ hammer forged steel barrel (ported, Melonite finish, 1:10″ twist), has a black finish, and comes with two 15-round magazines. Manufacturer part number: EC9459BUCOMP15.
