The LE6920 SOCOM is Colt’s civilian carbine patterned after M4A1 rifles issued with the heavier SOCOM barrel profile. A chrome-lined 16.1″ barrel, direct-impingement gas system and Knight’s Armament rail system give it the look and handling many buyers want in a “real Colt M4.” It is a straightforward duty-style AR without a free-float M-LOK handguard.
